Stage 1 of LORGAR RANKINGS tournament is done. Four days of national open qualifiers across 18 countries. Any team could sign up, and nearly 2,000 players across 400 teams did. The first results are in, and the level of competition has already set a high bar.
Today, we can preconfirm the teams advancing to the Closed Qualifier. That’s the invite-only stage where the best teams from each country compete head-to-head in Bo3 (best-of-three match) series:

Notable teams eliminated in Open Qualifiers
The open qualifier bracket also attracted some serious names that didn’t make it through. From 🇧🇬 Bulgaria, ACEND (VRS #69) and ENRAGE were eliminated early. 🇷🇴 Romania saw aimclub (VRS #198) and INFINITE exit the bracket, while the Baltics lost 🇱🇻 EC Banga (VRS #157) and 🇪🇪 GENESIS. The Balkan bracket eliminated 🇽🇰 MANA (VRS #112) and 🇦🇱 Hermine. 🇵🇱 Poland’s bracket was arguably the most stacked — Los Kogutos (VRS #98), Phantom (VRS #89), Minlate (VRS #102), Brazilijski luz, all eliminated. 🇺🇦 Ukraine had FavBet (VRS #76), Basement Boys (VRS #167), Wrotberry, Okura, and B8 Academy in the mix — none of them advancing.
Road to Barcelona
With the national stage behind us, the tournament moves into the online phase. Matches continue in a Bo3 series across multiple weeks, each one narrowing the field further before everything comes together at a live offline event. The road to Barcelona looks like this:
Group Stage Week 1: March 20–24
Group Stage Week 2: March 25–29
Play-in Stage 3: April 6–10 (the final online cutoff – last chance to secure a LAN spot)
LAN Finals: 🇪🇸 Barcelona (offline, in-person event where the top 8 teams compete on stage)
At stake: $50,000 in prize money and VRS points – Valve’s official ranking system that determines which teams get invited to Majors and the biggest CS2 events globally.
